East Riding of Yorkshire Yeomanry
Herbert LUSBY enlisted as a Private (1863) in
the 1st Line of the East Riding Yeomanry at
the Depot in Hull on 1st Dec 1914 aged 20
years 9 months. Fortunately for his
descendents, he was discharged from army
on 14 May 1915 due to illness and did not
have to serve overseas.

served in the 4th Duke
of Cornwall's Light
Infantry.
