1901 and 1911  Census
The Roman Catholic McAdoreys  in South Antrim were mainly clustered in the
townlands of Lenagh, Tannaghmore and Maghereagh in the
 1901 Census .
Denis McAdorey's father was farming on a owner occupied  farm in Maghereagh;
his uncle was farming on a rented farm in Tannaghmore.  The McAdoreys in
Lenagh were probably related.
The McAdoreys are also recorded in the
rent rolls for the Earl O'Neill's estate at
Shane's Castle.
 The spread of McAdoreys can be seen in the 1911 Ireland
Census.
