My KILVINGTON family is descended from Thomas KILVINGTON b.
1700s and Mary WALLs b. 1776. It was concentrated on the East
Yorkshire villages of Foston-on-the Wolds and Leven. The
KILVINGTONS were mainly market gardeners, domestic servants and
agricultural labourers.
Thomas and Mary had two sons William and Edward. The sons married
two sisters, Mary and Jane STEPHENSON and settled in Leven East
Yorkshire.
The Kilvingtons were market gardeners
starting with Thomas KILVINGTON b
1700s in Foston, through Edward
KILVINGTON b. 1797, Brigham, to GG
Grandmother Jane KILVINGTON b.
1831, Leven. Jane married George
MYERS in the St Faith's and Holy Trinity
Parish Church in Leven on 23rd
December 1852.
